The rector of the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal (UNFV), Dr. José María Pérez Viana signed a specific agreement for the development of Latin American Masters online in Addictions, allowing the formation of qualified professionals to develop policies and programs to reduce drug demand in the Latin American region. That agreement, which was signed on May 2 in Washington DC, United States, meet at the University Luis Amigo Foundation of Colombia, the universities Costa Rica, that country; of Deusto, Miguel Hernández, National Distance Education, Spain; Nacional Federico Villarreal Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Peru, and Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez, Venezuela to the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control drug of the Organization of American States (CICAD-OAS) and the National Drug Plan of the Ministry of Interior of Spain.
is the first time in the history of the OAS, which meets eight higher education institutions from various countries to socialize their knowledge and to break geographical barriers, with the support of new technologies and the use of distance education.
This agreement will last for two years after its signing.
